Solaris Life Sciences began in 2005 as a pharmaceutical partner and grew into one of Pakistan's fast-rising manufacturers, launching more than 50 new molecules along the way — including the introduction of Sofosbuvir tablets to the Pakistani market.
In February 2023, that experience became a company of its own: a purpose-built, GMP-certified manufacturing facility in Rawat, Islamabad, with the capacity, quality systems, and regulatory expertise to manufacture, market, and export pharmaceutical products — for our own portfolio and for partners who need a manufacturer they can rely on.

Inside our facility
Our double-storied production facility was engineered around Good Manufacturing Practices from the ground up. It runs high-speed automatic manufacturing lines, a Eurovent-certified HVAC system with desiccant dehumidifiers, Cleaning-in-Place systems, metal detectors, airlocks and interlocking systems, and purified water generated through reverse osmosis with a pure-steam generator. Six sections are operational today, with dedicated biopharmaceutical and oncology sections under construction.

Our quality assurance department is led by seasoned regulatory and quality professionals, including PhD-level experts, and works to GMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines. Our quality control laboratories are established to PNAC and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, equipped with HPLC, GC, atomic absorption and FTIR spectrophotometers, and supported by an independent microbiology lab with a clean room for sterility and microbial-limit testing.
